The 1.7 million SF IKEA facility serves as its Western North American Distribution Center. It supplies IKEA’s retail stores from San Diego to western Canada with approximately 5,250 container shipments of furnishings and accessories annually. In addition to its 1.7 million SF warehouse, IKEA leases another 325,000 SF within Tejon Industrial Complex.

  • Along with IKEA’s many environmentally sustainable initiatives, it is committed to reducing its energy use at its distribution centers. IKEA has reduced energy consumption at its Tejon distribution center by 50 percent by retrofitting its lighting system, including installing motion sensors that regulate lighting.
